Audit Logs

The platform logs important actions for accountability and security review.

What Is Logged

  • Authentication Events — Login, logout, failed attempts
  • Data Changes — Create, update, delete operations on critical records
  • Permission Changes — Role assignments, approval decisions
  • Financial Actions — Invoice creation, payment recording, salary changes
  • Settings Changes — Configuration updates by admins

Log Details

Each log entry records:

  • Timestamp (UTC)
  • User who performed the action
  • Action type and description
  • Affected resource and ID
  • Before and after values (for updates)

Retention

Audit logs are retained for 90 days by default. Owners can configure retention periods in Settings. Logs can be exported for long-term archival.
